Since the purchase of his first cassette tape of Run DMC, Jason has been a fan, student, and advocate of hip hop music.

Jason expanded his knowledge and appreciation of hip hop through interviews, hosting events and parties in political arenas, and participating in community events, to include The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, Hip Hop Cares Foundation, and the Democratic National Committee.

Jason stays active with interviews from some of Hip Hops biggest names. He is currently in production of a new television series where he plans to create an intellectual platform for Hip Hop artists to express themselves, telling the story behind the story, that turn ordinary men and women into Hip Hop Icons.
